My Journey in Dentistry

Dentistry has always been the perfect blend of science, skill, and artistry for me. More than anything, I consider it a privilege to care for patients and make a meaningful difference in their health and well-being.

I studied to become a dentist right here in California at UC San Francisco and graduated in 2006 after completing my undergraduate studies at UC Davis. After completing my education, I returned to Northern California to build my practice and serve the community that helped shape me.

Throughout my career, I have developed a special passion for helping patients who struggle with dental pain or anxiety. Many people come to the office carrying memories of difficult dental experiences, and it’s important to me that they feel comfortable, respected, and confident in the care they receive. Creating a calm and supportive environment allows patients to get the treatment they need without fear.

After more than twenty years of practicing dentistry, I have decided to specialize in implant dentistry. One of the most rewarding aspects of this field is seeing the transformation that happens when patients regain their smiles. Seeing a patient return to eating, speaking, laughing, and enjoying life with confidence again is incredibly fulfilling. Being part of that journey is why I love what I do.

Life Beyond Dentistry

While dentistry has always been an important part of my life, my greatest joy is my family.

Nancy and I were married in 2010, and not long after, we began the adventure of raising our family together. Our daughter Ella was born the following year, and her younger brother Liam soon joined her. In 2017, we welcomed our twin boys, Jonah and Derek. Our family continued to grow with the addition of Stephanie in 2022 and Rachel in 2023.

Life at home is busy, full, and incredibly rewarding. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors tending to our garden beds. It’s a peaceful way to relax and recharge after a busy day.

Treating Every Patient Like Family

When I recommend dental treatment, I approach every decision the same way I would for my own family.

My parents and many relatives live nearby, and I often care for their dental needs. The concerns you have about your smile, your comfort, and your long-term health are the same concerns my own family shares. Because of that, every recommendation I make is guided by one simple principle: providing the best possible care for you and your loved ones.

I look forward to welcoming you to our practice. Our goal is simple: to treat every patient like family and provide a dental experience you can truly feel confident about.
